Team Travel & Payment
- Flight, ground transportation, lodging and some meals will take place as a team. Occasional meals with parents will be permitted. Meals with relatives other than parents are permissible with prior WRITTEN permission from a parent. Individual travel to and from tournament play may be permissible with prior WRITTEN permission from a parent, and with approval of coaches.
- Each player will select which tournaments they are interested in at the time of initial registration. Players will be placed on the travel roster on a first-come, first-served basis. If necessary and permitted by the host tournament, a second team will be added to meet demand. Payment is expected by the deadline established in order to keep your spot on the travel roster.
- The distribution or use of drugs or alcohol are not permitted while you are participating on any trip or at any practice or event associated with Colorado Futures and are grounds for immediate dismissal from the program without refund. Any travel expense incurred to depart the company of the team will be your responsibility. Similarly, unsportsmanlike conduct is not permitted and may result in dismissal from the program.
- In order to obtain low airfares, we negotiate with airline group desks that require ticket purchase 45 days prior to travel, therefore when you register you are committed to the trip and you are responsible for associated costs. Your trip deposit of $50 is due at time of registration; $100 is due 30 days prior to the date of travel and final payment is due no later than 7 days prior to departure.
- If applicable, players need to secure the written permission of their High School Principal to participate as a member of an external athletic team at practice or competition (during the high school lacrosse season). This permission will be granted provided the player will not miss school in order to participate and meets the required academic standard for approval (CHSAA Requirement). Players are responsible for obtaining this permission. The CHSAA form is available on their website at www.chsaa.org or on the forms and links page of www.coloradofutures.org
